Conditioned Steel Cut Wire Shot is a rounded metallic abrasive made from high-quality steel cut wire through a special conditioning process. Compared with as-cut steel cut wire, conditioned cut wire shot has smoother edges and a more rounded particle shape, providing stable blasting performance, lower surface damage and more uniform finishing results. It is widely used for shot peening, deburring, surface cleaning and surface finishing of castings, forgings, automotive parts, springs, gears, machinery components and precision metal workpieces.
Conditioned Steel Cut Wire Shot is produced from selected steel wire through wire drawing, cutting, conditioning, screening and quality inspection. After the steel wire is cut into uniform cylindrical particles, the sharp edges are gradually rounded through a conditioning process to achieve a smoother and more consistent particle shape. Strict screening and inspection help ensure stable size distribution, controlled hardness, good toughness and reliable blasting performance.

Conditioned Steel Cut Wire Shot is suitable for applications requiring controlled impact, uniform surface finishing and reduced workpiece damage.
Common applications include:
20 kg or 25 kg Steel drums and palletized packaging.
20 kg or 25 kg bags, jumbo bags.
▪ Customized package weight and export packaging can be arranged according to customer requirements.▪
Conditioned Cut Wire Shot is mainly used for shot peening, deburring, surface finishing and controlled shot blasting. Compared with as-cut steel cut wire, it has rounded edges and a more uniform shape, which helps reduce surface damage and produce more consistent surface treatment results.
It is suitable for automotive parts, springs, gears, shafts, castings, forgings, machinery components and metal workpieces that require stable peening performance or smooth surface finishing.
Steel Cut Wire is produced by cutting steel wire into cylindrical particles, while Conditioned Cut Wire Shot is further processed to round the sharp edges. This conditioning process gives the abrasive a smoother shape and makes it more suitable for shot peening and precision surface finishing.
Conditioned Cut Wire Shot provides more stable impact, lower surface damage and better peening consistency, especially for parts that require controlled surface stress, improved fatigue resistance and reliable mechanical performance.
