S230 and S280 Low Carbon Steel Shot are medium-size steel shot abrasives widely used for general shot blasting, casting cleaning and industrial surface preparation.

These grades provide a good balance between cleaning efficiency and surface quality. They are suitable for medium-sized castings, forgings, machinery parts, steel components and metal workpieces that require stable cleaning performance.

Compared with smaller steel shot sizes, S230 and S280 offer stronger impact force and higher cleaning efficiency.

Manufacturing Process

Low carbon steel shot is produced through melting, atomization, controlled heat treatment, screening and inspection. The process focuses on obtaining a bainite structure, good toughness and stable hardness.

Each batch can be tested for chemical composition, particle size distribution, density, hardness and internal defects. This helps ensure reliable performance in automatic blasting lines and long-cycle abrasive circulation systems.
