Product Introduction

S330 and S390 Low Carbon Steel Shot are medium to large-size steel shot abrasives widely used for general shot blasting, casting cleaning and industrial surface preparation.

These grades provide strong cleaning efficiency while maintaining stable surface quality. S330 is suitable for medium-sized castings, forgings, machinery parts, steel components and metal workpieces that require balanced cleaning performance. S390 offers a higher impact force and is more suitable for heavier castings, forged parts, steel structures and workpieces that require stronger cleaning performance.

Compared with smaller steel shot sizes, S330 and S390 provide stronger impact force, higher cleaning efficiency and stable blasting performance.

Manufacturing Process

Low carbon steel shot is produced through melting, atomization, controlled heat treatment, screening and inspection. The process focuses on obtaining a bainite structure, good toughness and stable hardness.

Each batch can be tested for chemical composition, particle size distribution, density, hardness and internal defects. This helps ensure reliable performance in automatic blasting lines and long-cycle abrasive circulation systems.

Advantages

S330 and S390 Low Carbon Steel Shot provide strong and stable blasting performance for medium to heavy-duty surface preparation. Their medium to large particle size makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, including casting cleaning, desanding, descaling, rust removal and steel surface treatment.

These grades offer a good balance between cleaning efficiency and surface finish. Compared with fine steel shot, S330 and S390 deliver stronger impact force, helping improve cleaning speed and remove tougher surface contaminants. With good toughness and durability, low carbon steel shot also provides lower breakage, reduced dust generation and better recyclability during repeated blasting cycles.

S330 and S390 are especially suitable for automatic shot blasting machines, where stable media performance, consistent cleaning results and controlled operating costs are important.
